Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 May 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to DuoFrame ("App") licensed through Apple platforms and use of duoframe.app ("Site"). The operator is CrazyMCN(HK)Media Limited矩陣出海(香港)文化傳媒有限公司)("Company", "we", "us"), based in Hong Kong SAR.

1. Acceptance

Downloading or using DuoFrame or browsing the Site after these Terms appear constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, do not use DuoFrame or the Site. Use of Apple's services is additionally subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's standard EULA unless otherwise specified for your region.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity under your jurisdiction. If you lack capacity, parental or guardian consent is required.

3. Licence to the App

Subject to lawful purchase or free entitlement on the App Store, we grant you a personal, worldwide, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and run DuoFrame on Apple devices YOU own/control, strictly for lawful personal or internal business creative use in line with these Terms — not resale, benchmarking to clone, circumventing DRM, reversing except where compulsory law permits, or unauthorised distribution beyond Apple channels.

4. App features

DuoFrame evolves. Features described on the Site or within the App constitute current marketing only; timing and availability remain at our discretion. No guarantee of uptime or suitability for niche professional broadcast compliance unless expressly stated separately in writing by the Company.

5. Subscriptions

If DuoFrame offers paid plans, purchases are billed by Apple; renewal, cancellations, refunds, and price disputes follow Apple-subscription rules and timelines. Pricing shown in the App reflects Apple storefront rules. Complaints unrelated to Apple's policies may nevertheless be routed to info@duoframe.app; we endeavour to escalate platform-side issues responsibly.

6. User content

You retain rights to content you capture with DuoFrame, subject to law and third-party rights. You may not use the App to violate applicable law, harass others, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, circumvent security controls, impersonate individuals or organisations in a deceptive way, or upload illegally obtained material. Serious or repeated breaches may result in revocation of licence and cessation of updates or service where permitted by Apple and applicable law.

Where permitted by statute, you agree to indemnify the Company against reasonable third-party claims arising from misuse of DuoFrame attributable to your breach of these Terms.

7. Third-party platforms

TikTok®, YouTube®, Instagram®, trademarks belong to respective owners. DuoFrame is independent; export or publish flows use OS/third-party integrations you trigger. Not sponsored or endorsed absent separate written endorsement.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS". TO MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED LAW, COMPANY DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE TITLE NON-INFRINGEMENT. NO WARRANTY UNINTERRUPTED ERROR-FREE SECURITY FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of DuoFrame or the Site — except where such exclusion is void (for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence that cannot be excluded under mandatory law).

Where liability cannot be excluded, the Company's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms, DuoFrame, or the Site is limited to the greater of HK$200 and the total amount of fees you paid directly to the Company (excluding amounts paid to Apple for in-app purchases) in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Apple handles App Store payments under Apple's terms.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of DuoFrame, your breach of these Terms, or content you create or publish in violation of law or third-party rights. Consumer rights that cannot be waived under your local law remain unaffected.

11. Intellectual property

Except where open-source or third-party licences apply, the Company owns or licenses the DuoFrame trade marks, branding, user interface, documentation, and software. The licence in Section 3 does not transfer ownership. If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them to improve DuoFrame without obligation to you, subject to our Privacy Policy where personal data is involved.

12. Termination

You may stop using DuoFrame uninstall. We may discontinue services where Apple rules or law dictate; serious breach terminates licence. Survival: Sections 8–15.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by laws of Hong Kong SAR, excluding conflict rules. Courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction — except consumers with mandatory protections retain local non-waiver rights. Prior good-faith mediation via info@duoframe.app is encouraged fourteen (14) days before filing except urgent injunctive relief.
